Hi there! My name is Lauren Cunningham.

I am the Alterations Manager at NORDSTROM Park Meadows, who manages a very diverse team of 18 in a high-volume and fast production alteration shop. I started my college career as an art major; I had explored both fibers and figure drawing so much that I found my true passion in design. I then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Apparel & Merchandising with a concentration in Apparel Design and Production and Product Development.

I started with NORDSTROM in June of 2023 as a Sewer/Presser and was promoted within 5 months to Tailor/Fitter. In the 3 years I was a tailor, I absorbed many techniques of alterations, perfected the perfect fit in dresses, suits, and garments, as well as learned the schematics of a high-volume alterations shop. So much so, I was promoted to the Alterations Manager exactly 3 years after I started with NORDSTROM.

My career aspirations involve me drawing all day and bringing those ideas to life through the help of technology.
